November 12, 2026, 2 p.m. (German)
November 12, 2026, 4 p.m. (English)

In this info event, the Erasmus+ team of TUM G&A provides guidance for your application to the Erasmus+ program:

  • Where and in what form are stays abroad, studies at partner universities and internships possible?
  • Does it make sense to apply now and what do you need to take into account by applying?
  • How do you get financial support and recognition of your achievements?

You will receive a comprehensive general overview of the program as well as important insights and personal experience reports from students who have already completed an Erasmus semester or are currently abroad. Afterwards, you can discuss specific questions with Erasmus+ representatives from some schools and departments in breakout rooms (from 6 p.m.). Both info events will take place online via Teams.

Personal insights

“What began as a study destination that wasn't even one of my preferred choices turned into one of the greatest adventures of my university years.

My semester abroad in Portugal was a life-changing experience that I would never want to miss.”

Application

Apply directly through our online portal. The link to the portal can be found in the blue info box at the top of the page during the application period. Please use the application form specifically mentioned there.

  • You can submit one application per semester. You can choose up to four universities (be aware: only for CIT Informatics up to six universities), depending on the rules of your TUM School or subject area.
Make sure to check how many universities you can choose by visiting your School’s or subject area's info website or asking the Erasmus representative.
  • Please note! You are not permitted to apply for multiple TUM exchange programs in the same academic year (e.g., applying to both Erasmus+ and TUMexchange).
  • Keep your login details safe, as you will need them later to submit documents for your grant.
  • Submit your application early to avoid any technical issues, especially when many people are applying close to the deadline.
  • Some Schools/subject areas use their own application system for the first application step: ED Architecture (Bachelor / Master), LS Landscape Architecture, and the TUM School of Management . Please check their websites for more details.
