The prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology have been TUM's close partners in India since 2001. Since 2014, TUM Mumbai has served as a coordination platform for engagement between TUM and Indian academic and research institutions via the Mumbai Office of the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce (IGCC). TUM Mumbai facilitates institutional contacts, supports Indo-German academic and research cooperation initiatives, and facilitates the participation of TUM faculty members in international research events.
